White SEA SHELL PILL BOX 1x2-In Brass Purse Closure! - eBay (item 310041766824 end time Apr-22-08 19:45:00 PDT) This unique sea shell pill box is two deep halves with a hinged metal twist-open purse type closure. It has a lovely pearly white color with the natural shell ridges. The metal looks like brass.
The workmanship is good, with the metal parts solidly attached to the shell parts. There's no maker's mark. A line crossing the shell ridges is not a crack, but a natural part of the shell structure.
The shell pill box measures 2 inches long by over an inch wide and about 1 1/2 inches high when closed. It opens easily and closes tight.

1972 GRIM WIT #1 Richard Corben Art, Rip Off Press XLNT - eBay (item 310041434407 end time Apr-21-08 18:14:02 PDT) This underground comic Grim Wit #1 was published by Rip Off Press in 1972. Full-color cover art by Gore (Richard Corben) who also did all the inside pages which are black and white.

Vintage Wood MUSICAL MAIL TRUCK BANK King of the Road! - eBay (item 310040847535 end time Apr-19-08 18:31:33 PDT) This charming piggy bank is a wooden mail truck with rolling wheels and it plays music when you wind the key. The bottom is marked, "© Logomobile 1989 Made in U.S.A." There's a black plastic "Caplugs" stopper in the bottom opening which allows the saved coins to be retrieved.
The black printed design shows a cartoon driver in the old-style truck. The sides are marked, "United States Postal Service U.S. Mail." It's charming how the driver is drawn form all side as looking out the driver's side window.
The mail truck bank measures 6 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2" high. The music plays "King of the Road" ("I'm a man of means by no means...") when the key is wound up. It has a couple minor dents in the roof.

Vintage Wood KITZMILLER ACCOUNT FILE Bill Holder Spike! - eBay (item 310040845535 end time Apr-19-08 18:19:16 PDT) This old office tool is a hinged wooden spindle system for holding billing paperwork. The metal label on top says, "Write us before your supply of fillers are exhausted. Kitzmiller & Co. Account File, Unityville, Penna. U.S.A."
The metal label on the back says:The Kitzmiller Account File. There's a paper label pasted on the bottom telling how to use the system. None of the original account fillers are here. I imagine they haven't been manufactured in decades.
The wood has some wear, especially on the edges. The paper label instructions are worn away on some edges and there's a loose bit near the bottom. The hinges are strong and working, the spindles are solidly attached and meet properly.

1969 SILVER SURFER #4 Thor, Loki Low Distribution XLNT - eBay (item 310040000184 end time Apr-16-08 21:25:00 PDT) This copy of The Silver Surfer #4 features Thor and Loki. There was low distribution on this Marvel comic with John Buscema art. It was published in February, 1969.
This is an unread copy, bright and crisp, in excellent condition with high gloss. Inner pages are white, corners are sharp. Although almost 40 years old, it looks pretty much like it just came from the store.
There is very minor foxing, mostly on the back cover. In the middle of the back is a ripple that's not quite a crease.
