This vintage gravy boat is solid silver, we think, because someone dug at an awful sticker to remove it and the scrapes are still silver inside. The swan's shape is beautiful and needs serious shining up to look as fabulous as possible. I see no maker's mark anywhere.

I'm calling it a gravy boat, but it could also be a wonderful candy or nut dish. It weighs a ton and is well made.

This pair of vintage eye glasses has oval lenses free of chips, cracks or scuffs. There are no nose pieces except for the loops bent in the bridge. They have delicate wire temples and weigh almost nothing. I see no maker's mark.

This style of temple that wraps around the back of the ear is great for active people. These spectacles will not fall off, even if you turn upside-down.

This vintage button hook is possibly sterling silver, has the hook on one end and a hole for hanging it up on the other end. It's marked, "Elsworth & Son, Sole Agency, Holland, N.Y." on one side of the handle and "'Queen Quality' Shoes" on the other side of the handle.

Miles didn't come up with this item. Joe's aunt fished it up out of her long-held possessions. She's 87 years old, didn't say whether she used it personally and I didn't ask. I looks like a free giveaway from the shoe store way back when.

This vintage Godinger silver card tree holds post cards or gift cards in the ten clips. The base is Victorian style decorative metal and marked, "Godinger" on the underside. The arms can be adjusted as needed to display cards of different sizes.

The card tree stands about 12 inches high on base about 3 by 4 inches. The finish is dull on much of the arms and clips. The Victorian design silver base could use polishing.
