Ornate 5-In ELEPHANT TRINKET BOX Kneeling, Round Basket - eBay (item 310020891352 end time Feb-12-08 18:26:34 PST) This ornate trinket box is a kneeling elephant with upraised trunk and a round basket on his back. I think it's made of composition, which seems like a light weight fake ceramic material. I see no maker's mark anywhere.
The inner box is a half round almost three inches across and half that deep. It measures 4 1/2 inches long, almost 3 1/2 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high.
The elephant is wearing elaborate side panels and the basket has a woven reed design with curlicues and fringe. I've had it for awhile and I like it, but never found something wonderful for it to hold. Maybe you can figure something great to put in it.

Vintage Ornate BRASS PEACOCK PILL BOX Five Compartments - eBay (item 310020886557 end time Feb-12-08 18:07:15 PST) This vintage brass peacock pill box features five compartments decorated with small peacocks surrounding a larger central peacock. I see no maker's mark anywhere. I could believe it comes from India or another Hindu country because it's so ornate. Besides the six peacocks, there is an elephant head with upraised trunk for good luck on the five legs.
How does it open? Turn the central peacock to unscrew the bolt beneath him. This frees up little tabs so the five compartment lids can be lifted. The compartments are curved leaf shapes about a quarter inch deep. The lids are curved leaf shapes that are another quarter inch deep or high.
Not all the lids open all the way. Maybe you could tinker with that if you want more finger room. I feared breaking something, so didn't mess around. You could use these five compartments for organizing pills for five days, or for five different kinds of pills.

Vintage 1978 KENNER DARTH VADER ACTION FIGURE No Saber! - eBay (item 310020628919 end time Feb-11-08 20:58:18 PST) This vintage Darth Vader action figure was made by Kenner back in 1978. He's 12" tall wearing a black "leather" suit, open coat, cape, gloves and boots. He has no light saber.
His arms don't seem to want to move much, but he can turn his head, bend at the hips, stand on his own and sit. While looking for a maker's mark (never found), I discovered he has a tremendously muscular back.
He's in very good condition with a white mark on his right glove. No light saber, no removable helmet, no sound effects. Just cool looking!

Vintage WOODEN COMPOUND BOW No Maker's Mark 32.5 Inches - eBay (item 310020619511 end time Feb-11-08 19:58:54 PST) This vintage wooden compound bow has no maker's mark anywhere. One wheel is marked, "607-120T" on one side and "T" on the other. The other wheel is marked, "607-121B" and "B."
It's made of wood and painted red, with metal brackets and wheels, and strong cable. The grip is black plastic or rubber and would work either right or left-handed. It measures 32 1/2" from tip to tip by 8" by 1 1/4". It weighs 13.8 ounces. I can pull the cable out 21" from the far end of the grip, which is about an inch further than it easily offered to go. Are you supposed to pull it further? I don't know draw weight, string length or anything.
An eBay seller wrote a great guide on choosing a compound bow: http://reviews.ebay.com/Choosing-a-Compound-Bow_W0QQugidZ10000000000048650

Vintage ATTWOOD ROLLING WRENCH Wheel Jaw Adjusts 1907! - eBay (item 310020598404 end time Feb-11-08 18:26:55 PST) This vintage wrench has a unique adjustable lower "jaw" that rolls. There's a strong spring in the hollow handle and big teeth, so this wrench will grasp any size nut.
The handle is marked, "The Attwood Mfg. Co., Conneaut, O., Pat. Nov. 1907." It's heavy like cast iron, but smoother. It weighs two pounds, is 11 1/2 inches long and the spring is strong, but the wheel can be pulled back with one hand and determination.
There's green paint on the back, spatters of white and gray something on the head, and dents on the back.

Complete Set Burroughs CHARLTON JUNGLE TALES OF TARZAN! - eBay (item 310020329276 end time Feb-10-08 20:10:11 PST) This complete set of the four unauthorized Charlton Jungle Tales of Tarzan has art mostly by Sam Glanzman. Burroughs, Inc. asked Charlton to cease publishing or there would have been more. The four issues were published in December, 1964, and February, May and July, 1965.
Unlike most of the Tarzan comics, these were direct adaptations from Edgar Rice Burroughs' book of short stories Jungle Tales of Tarzan. Charlton was going to adapt the entire book. The last issue was illustrated by Montes and Bache.
These are unread copies in excellent condition. There is some age darkening on the covers and a minor bit of foxing, particularly on the back cover of the last issue. The covers are crisp and new looking with a few small spine creases from being shifted around in the collection for the last forty-four years. There are one or two dents on the covers in the set from when a newsdealer was handling them when new.
These comics are very collectible and difficult to find in this condition. Judging from guides, the value of this set is at least $150.00.
