This vintage tea pot is marked on the bottom, "Manning-Bowman & Co." It has protruding spikes for resting on a stand with a burner, but those pieces are not here. This is the pot only.
The pot is likely silverplate. You can see copper showing on the worn bottom rim. Both the pour handle and the lid handle are wood. The large handle prefers to lay to one side or the other, rather than stand upright.
The tea pot measures 8 inches long, 6 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches high with the handle upright. It holds 4 cups.
There's a small dent in the pot edge and a more serious dent that looks like a cut in the lid edge. The finish on the outside is good, inside the pot is tarnished. Some of the black finish on the wood parts is missing.
