Vintage UK MORTAR CASE Hard Green Plastic, Strap, Cap! - eBay (item 310076424032 end time Aug-23-08 18:46:49 PDT)
This vintage 81mm mortar case of tough dark green plastic with a screw-on lid and sturdy strap is marked, "C868, 1 Cartridge, 81mm Mortar M821, FUZ MOF-M734, For Mortar M252, Lot RFG88F009-028, UN 0321" and "UK Military Explosive 1.2E" and some little numbers I can't read.
It's empty, no mortar shell in it now, and ought to make a great storage container for something or other. Maps? Arrows? What do you think?
