This vintage Rick O'Shay daily comic art original by Stan Lynde. It was published in 1959 Chicago Tribune-N.Y. News Syndicate, Inc. for publication June 19. Most of Lynde's early strips were destroyed in a fire, so this early original is rare. The three panels each show a scene out on the plains with both Rick and Hipshot in the first panel. There are a few blue pencil notations in the margins and orange stains from rubber cement that attached the Zip-a-Tone shading medium.
We specialize in antiques and vintage collectibles that include old-time toys, books, old tools, eye glasses, miner's carbide lamps, tin signs, vintage cameras and who knows what.
