This wooden box that looks like an old-fashioned hand-crank phone is really a pencil sharpener. It has a tiny sticker on the back that says, "Made in Japan." The receiver is wooden and the bells don't ring, but it sharpens pencils just fine.

The wood has tiny black dots to help it look old and dove-tail joints. It measures about five inches high and will hang on your wall. There are some minor scrapes and a dent on the side with the crank. The metal tray to catch the shavings has red tape on one corner. The blade in the mechanism looks a bit rusty, but works.
