Vintage Metal COOKIE CUTTERS in Box For Party Occasions - (eBay item 290181394824 end time Nov-20-07 18:45:00 PST)
This set of cookie cutters looks like it came out in the forties. The lid says, "Cookie Cutters made of Metal For All Party Occasions." They seem to be made of tin.
There were twelve cutters originally, but three are missing: star, clover, cross. What's in the box are the axe, heart, deer, lamb, chicken, fish, rabbit and two I can't identify.
The metal has some patina, but the cookie cutters are still usable.
