Vintage BRAIDED LEATHER WHIP Short Carriage Plaited 64" - eBay (item 310051402530 end time May-21-08 20:03:39 PDT)
This vintage braided or plaited leather whip is flexible from one end to the other, including the handle part. It currently measures 64 inches long, but the tip was unraveling. My man tied the ends in knots for neatness.
Perhaps it was a short carriage whip in days of old. It might be too fragile for anything but decoration now.
