This vintage air pressure gauge tells you the air pressure in sporting equipment balls. It measures from 0 up to 30 pounds. It's marked, "Athletic Ball Gauge. U.S. Gauge Co., NY."
The button on the bottom right pushes in and pops right out again, but I don't know what it's for. Maybe resets the gauge? It seems to be stuck on 8 pounds, but I'm not sure how it works. The business end looks like a tire gauge.
This must be an old-time gauge used before the modern ones we're used to these days that look like a pen and have a slide scale pop out the top.
