This vintage toy iron is marked, "'Sunny Suzy' Wolverine Supply & Mfg. Co., Pittsburgh, PA. Made in U.S.A. 120 V, 5 W." The plug blades are marked, "Gilbert UL Pat'd." It's probably from the fifties or sixties.
Don't worry, it only gets warm enough to feel warm to the touch, not warm enough to burn little fingers. You can see through the plug as there's no end cap between the blades. Maybe that's not important with such a low-wattage toy.
Does this bring back memories of your childhood?

I still have a "Sunny Suzy" iron and a pink and black ironing board from my childhood from the mid
50's.
Hi Terri,
How cool! Maybe you didn't have younger siblings playing with it?
